Bone Cage
Jamie (Taylor Olson) works a wood cpu, clear-cutting for pulp in small-town Nova Scotia. At the end of each shift, he walks through the devastation he has created trying to find damaged animals and saves those he can. Adapted from a play by Nova Scotian author Catherine Banks, Bone Cage is an outstanding very first feature from Halifax actor/filmmaker Taylor Olson that sensitively digs deep into the tragedy of just how young people in rural neighborhoods, utilized in the devastation of their environment, treat the people they like at the end of their shift.
