Tom has accumulated a substantial gambling debt as a result of his depression and the recent death of his wife. He travels to his affluent Aunt Florence's home in the hopes that she will include him in her estate planning. In the face of a vengeful creditor who makes it plain that Tom is running out of time, Tom collaborates with Elodie, the undertaker's daughter, to plunder the graves of the wealthy citizens buried across the street in the cemetery across the street. In the aftermath of raiding the graveyards, Tom returns to Florence's house, where the situation takes a nasty turn. Tom begins to hear and see weird things that appear to be connected to the deaths of the people he has robbed in the past. Even more unnerving is the fact that he appears to be the only one who is aware of the events. It is unclear whether Tom's conscience is playing a joke on him or whether he is truly being haunted by people who took advantage of him.
