The plot of the movie centers on a defiant young woman named Cassie Vanderbilt, whose wild behavior gets progressively worse when her doting father Lucas makes the decision to take her and his new wife Sarah on a trip away from the city so that they can spend some quality time together and get to know each other better. But as Cassie comes into contact with the notorious McKinley family, it becomes abundantly evident that danger can sometimes be found concealed in the weeds, waiting to pounce at any moment.
