Leonard Soloway's Broadway captures a side of Broadway that few people ever get to see, as seen through the eyes of a legendary Broadway producer who you have probably never heard of. This is accomplished through the use of verité documentary footage, humorous storytelling, interviews, and archival film material. He led an unconventional life on his own terms and over the course of 70 years, he produced over 100 shows (and counting) that resulted in history making headlines, more than 40 Tony Awards, 62 Tony Nominations, 21 Drama Desk Awards, 29 Drama Desk Nominations, and 3 Pulitzer Prizes. In addition, he was responsible for launching the careers of famous stars who are known all over the world.
