Half & Half is a popular American comedy that originally debuted on UPN on September23,2002, and ran until May15, 2006. The lives of two paternal half-sisters in their twenties who were estranged throughout their infancy but are finally building a strong relationship are the focus of the show. The show follows the characters from their childhood until they are in their twenties. The city of San Francisco serves as the backdrop for this series. It was the fourth most watched show on UPN overall and the second most watched show on the network's Monday night lineup. The show was on The CW's first draft line-up in March of 2006; however, due to a number of unforeseen events, including The CW's contractual obligation to pick up Reba, the uncancelling of All of Us, and the pick-up of the Girlfriends spin-off The Game, the show was removed from the final Fall 2006 schedule and production was halted. Reruns of the show have been broadcast on Global TV in Canada, on the channel Trouble in the United Kingdom, and in local syndication across the United States. TV One airs it in the United States of America as well.
