Curly Sue
Bill Dancer and his young companion Curly Sue epitomize the stereotype of kindhearted vagabonds when they're on the streets together. Their swindles are not perpetrated with the intention of making a profit; rather, they are directed toward securing sufficient sustenance for themselves. They are only trying to get a free lunch for themselves when they con the gorgeous and wealthy Grey Ellison into believing that she backed her Mercedes into Bill. But despite the protests of her snooty fiancé, Grey's feelings are affected by the proposal.
