Freshman Orientation
Rather than discovering that college is not the beer-fueled, sexual fantasy of his imagination, a typical Midwestern 18-year-old student at a large public university realizes that school is not the beer-driven, sexual fantasy of his imagination. Enthusiastic about getting the girl of his dreams (a stunning but reticent sorority girl), he chooses to take on a gay identity in order to insert himself into her social circle. He swiftly finds himself entangled in a web of campus activism, gender conflict, fraternity hazes, sorority torture, "coming out" narratives, political martyrs, and, finally, a university-wide meltdown as a result of this petty charade.
