Cain & Abel
In this contemporary retelling of the biblical story of Cain and Abel, the strong-willed matriarch Seora Pina prioritizes her younger son Ellis above her elder son Loren, whom she holds responsible for the passing of her husband. Loren is the older of the two brothers. Ellis develops into a spineless and spoiled young man, whereas Loren matures into a respectable family man in spite of his growing hatred toward his mother. What started out as competition between siblings quickly grew into a deep grudge that eventually erupted into a full-scale battle, with with all of the carnage and death that entails.
