Great race horses from the past can be reincarnated as "horse girls"—girls with the ears and tails of horses, as well as their speed and endurance—in a world quite similar to our own. The greatest of these horse girls are selected to train at Tokyo's Tracen Academy, with the goal of becoming racers and idols. Special Week, a country high school horse girl, has recently transferred to Tracen, and she's determined to keep her promise to her mother of becoming Japan's best horse girl. She stops at the race track on her way to school and falls in love with Silence Suzuka's style, vowing to race with her.
