Transporter: The Series is an English-language French-Canadian action-adventure television series based on the Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen-created Transporter film franchise. It is co-produced by French Atlantique Productions and Canadian boutique entertainment business QVF Inc., together with broadcast partners M6, RTL, The Movie Network, Movie Central, and HBO/Cinemax. The series continues the adventures of Frank Martin, a professional freelance courier who will deliver anything, anyplace, for the correct amount, and who lives by three "unbreakable" principles that he regularly violates. Chris Vance replaces Jason Statham as Frank, and is accompanied by Andrea Osvárt as the series' main lady, a former CIA agent and Frank's love interest who organizes his missions, and Francois Berléand, the lone returning actor from the film series, who reprises his role as Inspector Tarconi. A total of twelve episodes were ordered for 2012 at a budget of $40,000,000 (€30,000,000). The series began in Germany on RTL on October 11, 2014, and in France on M6 on December 6, 2014. The Canadian debut aired on HBO Canada and Super Écran 1 on January 4, 2013 The broadcast began on January 25, 2013 on the Sony PIX channel in India.
