The Secret World of Alex Mack ran on Nickelodeon from Oct. 8, 1994 through Jan. 15, 1998, replacing Clarissa Explains It All. It aired on YTV in Canada and NHK in Japan, and was a staple in the ABC's mid-to-late 1990s children's weekday lineup. The N broadcast repeats in2003, but they were shortly replaced. Thomas Lynch and John Lynch of Lynch Entertainment produced the series, which was co-created by Tom Lynch and Ken Lipman. It was the first Nickelodeon show not published by Paramount or Sony Wonder for home video.
