The Pretender
Jarod is a Pretender, a genius whose extraordinary brain enables him to assume multiple identities at will, including doctor, test pilot, and lawyer. Jarod was taken from his parents at a young age and raised in the Centre, a think tank where he felt his computer-like intellect was being used for the good of manking. Jarod bolted when he discovered that the simulations he had solved would be sold to the highest bidder regardless of their purpose. Jarod, now on the run, searches for his true identity while also striving to make amends for any harm his simulations may have caused by assisting those who were once as helpless as he was.
