An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer named Maia Rindell, while simultaneously wiping out the savings of her godmother and mentor, Diane Lockhart, as the story picks up one year after the events that transpired in the final episode that was broadcast of "The Good Wife." As a result of being fired from her law firm, which is now known as "Lockhart, Deckler, Gussman, Lee, Lyman, Gilbert, Lurie, Kagan, Tannebaum & Associates," they are now working alongside Lucca Quinn at one of the most prestigious law offices in Chicago.
