The Border
The Border is a Canadian drama that broadcast on CBC Television as well as 20 other international television networks. White Pine Pictures' Peter Raymont, Lindalee Tracey, Janet MacLean, and Jeremy Hole created it. Janice Dawe is the Executive in Charge of Production. John Fawcett, Michael DeCarlo, Ken Girotti, Kelly Makin, Brett Sullivan, and Philip Earnshaw directed episodes in the first season. The first season cost a total of $20 million, with each episode costing around 1.5 million dollars. The show is set in Toronto and follows agents from the fictional Immigration and Customs Security organization. The Government of Canada established the ICS to deal with trans-border issues affecting Canadian national security, such as terrorism and smuggling. After three seasons, the CBC announced that The Border will be cancelled.
