That Metal Show

Eddie Trunk runs the talk show That Metal Show with Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson as co-hosts. On November 15, 2008, it was first shown on VH1 Classic. On VH1 Classic, new episodes air on Saturday nights and are shown again during the week. The show talks about "everything hard rock and heavy metal" from the past and present. Round-table discussions between the three regular hosts, top-5 debates, interviews with heavy metal musicians, "Stump the Trunk," where audience members ask host Eddie Trunk trivia questions to win prizes, and "The Throwdown," where the hosts and guests vote on and debate great moments and people in metal history. "Day to Remember," the show's guitar-and-bass-heavy theme song, was written by co-host Jim Florentine and Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. Thal also played it. Mark Fain wrote the music for the beginning of "Stump the Trunk."
