Storm of the Century

The terrifying 1999 television miniseries Storm of the Century was penned by Stephen King and directed by Craig R. Baxley. It is also sometimes referred to as Stephen King's Storm of the Century. Storm of the Century was the only Stephen King miniseries that was not adapted from one of his novels. Instead, King wrote the story from the ground up with the intention of turning it into a screenplay. In February of 1999, the screenplay was finally made available to the public.
