Still the King

This is the story of Vernon Brownmule, better known by the stage name "Burnin' Vernon," who, after 20 years in the obscurity of country music, has re-emerged as one of the best Elvis impersonators in existence. As part of his sentence for smashing into an old country church sign while on a drunken bender, he is ordered to return and serve as the church's handyman. When he discovers he has a 15-year-old daughter, he pretends to be the new pastor of the church and reunites with a former one-night fling.
