The show State of Georgia is a situation comedy that airs on American television. Raven-Symoné, Majandra Delfino, and Loretta Devine star in the film. Raven-Symoné plays as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life personality, and her scientific nerd best friend Jo, who are attempting to achieve career and personal progress in New York City. From June 29 through August 17, 2011, ABC Family aired the series. With 1.32 million viewers, the pilot episode was a hit. State of Georgia was canceled on September 16, 2011, by ABC Family owing to low ratings.
