The Cuylers are the protagonists of the animated television series Squidbillies. They are a poor family of anthropomorphic mud squids who live in the Appalachian section of Georgia's highlands. Williams Street Studios is responsible for the production of the show, which debuted on October 16, 2005 and is broadcast on the Adult Swim programming block on Cartoon Network. Dave Willis, co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Jim Fortier, formerly of The Brak Show, both of whom worked on the Adult Swim series Space Ghost Coast to Coast, wrote it. Both of them were involved in the production of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Awesome Incorporated is responsible for the animation, and Ben Prisk is the one who designed the background.
