Out There
Following the misadventures of socially shy Chad, his younger brother Jay, and Chris, their best friend as they enter their adolescent years. The boys live in the small town of Holford, where they wander around the strange, bleak landscape while they wait out their last few years of being teenagers. We meet Wayne and Rose, Chad's parents, as well as Chris's mother Joanie and her disastrous ex-boyfriend Terry along the road. They also get to meet Sharla, Chad's crush. The series explores the terrible limbo between childhood and adulthood, where fragile adolescent personalities emerge and re-form, as well as the pitfalls of adolescence, such as puberty, first loves, and social ostracism. Enjoy the agony and bliss as Chad and Chris strive to find their way in the big wide world... out there.
