One Summer
Willy Russell wrote the script for the 1983 British television drama serial One Summer, and Gordon Flemyng was the director of the show. David Morrissey and Spencer Leigh play the lead roles of two teenage lads from troubled homes in Liverpool who decide to flee to Wales for the summer in order to start a new life for themselves. James Hazeldine and Ian Hart both had roles in it as well. From the 7th of August to the 4th of September in1983, Channel 4 broadcast the series in five episodes, each of which lasted for fifty minutes. It was shown again on ITV in April of 1985 at a later time.
