Lee Tim-shing created and produced the 2010 TVB Hong Kong television drama No Regrets. From 18 October to 28 November 2010, it broadcast on the Jade and HD Jade networks in 32 episodes. The final two episodes aired back-to-back on November 28, 2010. No Regrets is the companion piece to the award-winning drama Rosy Business, which was Hong Kong's second most-watched television drama in 2009. It is one of two major TVB productions used to commemorate the channel's 43rd anniversary, the other being Gun Metal Grey, both of which were the first Hong Kong dramas to air live with English subtitles. No Regrets is an epic drama set during World War II in Canton, Republic of China, that concentrates on a triad family, the Canton police force, and the Japanese occupation of the city. No Regrets' Chinese title directly translates to "Veiled Heroine, Ruthless Hero: Righteous Sea, Heroic Passion," alluding to the turbulent period of war as well as the delicate connection shared by the two major characters, Cheng Kau-mui and Lau Sing. The drama and cast garnered eleven TVB Anniversary Award nominations, four of which they won. Tang won Best Actress, Lai won Best Actor, Fala Chen won Best Supporting Actress, Mak Cheung-ching won Best Supporting Actor, and Raymond Wong won Most Improved Male Artiste. Meanwhile, No Regrets receives further honors and recognition, including all four Mingpao Weekly awards for TV programs, the first Shanghai Television Festival nomination for a Hong Kong TV drama, and two Asian Television Awards for supporting performers.
