Muscle is an American television sitcom that aired on The WB from January 11, 1995 through May 24, 1995. It was set within the fictional Survival Gym in New York City and was a satire of 1990s prime time soap operas. Rob LaZebnik created the series, which was executive produced by Paul Junger Witt, Tony Thomas, and Gary S. Levine. Muscle was one of four sitcoms that aired as part of the initial Wednesday night two-hour WB program, at 9:30/8:30c. It was the only one of the four that did not survive the first season, and it was also the first series to be canceled on the spanking new WB.
