Kahina Zadi, a 32-year-old French police woman, travels to Kiruna, Sweden, to investigate the savage killing of a French national. She begins an investigation alongside Anders, a prosecutor of Sami descent from Sweden. The first victim proves to be just the top of a very sinister iceberg, as other murders commence shortly after. The only thing the victims appear to have in common is that they are all being murdered in a deliberate and brutal fashion. In their pursuit of the truth, both Kahina and Anders are forced to confront their own repressed pasts. A personal journey through a traumatic past becomes the key to averting the murders that plague the little mining hamlet of Kiruna.
