Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is an animated television sitcom that debuted on Disney Channel in prime time on May 5, 2006. Originally, the show was part of the Playhouse Disney daily block, which was aimed for toddlers. On February 14, 2011, it was renamed Playhouse Disney and relocated to the Disney Junior block. It is the only Mickey Mouse program intended at children under the age of six. Bobs Gannaway, who also created Jake and the Never Land Pirates, collaborated on the series. The longtime voice of Mickey Mouse, Wayne Allwine, died in the spring of2009, halting production for four months. When Bret Iwan was cast as the fourth actor of Mickey's voice, production resumed. On June23,2013, Goofy and Pluto voice actor Bill Farmer stated on Twitter that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse would end after 7 years. Reruns, on the other hand, will be available on the Disney Junior service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
