Shigeno Daigo is an elementary school student whose father, Goro, is a professional baseball player. Daigo started playing baseball with a youth team called the Mifune Dolphins because his father used to play in the Major League. But he couldn't live up to the expectations that came with being the son of a pro, so he quit baseball after less than a year. Things start to get better for these two young men.
