Jessica is an Australian television miniseries based on Bryce Courtenay's historical novel. Originally broadcast in 2004 by Australia's Network Ten, this family-centered drama is set in the Australian outback at the turn of the twentieth century and follows a young woman who is unfairly institutionalized. Jessica won two awards at the 2004 Chicago International Film Festival, one of which was for the direction of Australian Peter Andrikidis.
