Ink
Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson were newspaper journalists in the CBS sitcom Ink, which aired from 1996 to1997. The show is said to have been based on the film His Girl Friday. Danson and Steenburgen were also involved in the show's production. As feared, the show was terminated after only one season due to low viewership. It is currently held by Disney-ABC Domestic Television for distribution. The original pilot for the show was dramatically altered, and a new version was shot. Ink was shot at the CBS Studio City soundstages in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles. Scenes in the open air were frequently shot on the studio's backlot streets.
