Story of a young noblewoman's (Pream) dignity when she is forced to marry a Chinese-Thai businessman (Grate) in order to save her home. Ying Ai is a descendant of the royal family and a woman with great dignity. Ying Ai's father taught her to despise Jao Sua, a Chinese-Thai businessman and a friend of her mother, at a young age. Ying Ai also believes that Jao Sua was responsible for her father's death. Lady Rattanawalee (Ying Ai's mother) agrees to marry Jao Sua to settle a portion of the debt her father left behind in order to save her home, the Prakardiat Palace. However, complications arise when her adopted uncle Prasit refuses the money from Lady Rattanwalee and insists that the funds must come from Ying Ai. Prasit will kill Ying Ai in order to seize the Palace, so compelling Jao Sua to marry Ying Ai to his youngest son, Ram. As luck would have it, Ram refuses the marriage, allowing Rab (who eagerly want to marry Ying Ai) to marry Ying Ai and allowing Ram's mother to moderate Ram's hatred of the first wife's children. Ying Ai is placed in the center of a battle between Jao Sua and her father's past following her marriage, forcing her to choose between Rab and her father. Will Ying Ai let the past go and find happiness with Rab? Will Lady Rattanawalee ultimately inform her daughter about the past? Will Ying Ai give in to her desires?
