Huge
Huge is an American drama series that ran on the ABC Family television network for a brief amount of time before being cancelled. Sasha Paley's novel for young adults of the same name served as the inspiration for this television series. The plot of this drama series that runs for an hour follows eight teenagers who are sent to a weight loss camp for the summer named Camp Victory. The pilot was written by Winnie Holzman, together with her daughter Savannah Dooley. Casting began in January of 2010, and production got underway in April of that same year. On June 28, 2010, at nine o'clock in the evening, the first episode of the series aired, and it was watched by 2.53 million people. Huge was canceled as a result of ABC Family's announcement, which took place on October 4, 2010, that the show would not be receiving an additional episode order.
