Hometown is an American drama series that aired on CBS from 22 August 1985 to 15 October 1985. The series was a straight remake of the 1983 film The Big Chill and was based on the same premise as the film: a group of pals in their 30s who had reunited after going their own ways after college in the 1960s. Upon their reunion, they discovered that they had played an even greater role in one other's lives in the 1980s. Barnet Kellman directed the majority of the programs while Julie and Dinah Kirgo acted as executive producers. Hometown is a production of Kingette Productions and Paramount Television.
