A total of 154 episodes from the five seasons of this primetime series, produced by Screen Gems, broadcast from September 28, 1961 to April 11, 1966. For the first four seasons, the sitcom aired on NBC, before moving to CBS for its final season. Except for one color episode, the first season was entirely in black and white; the second was entirely in color. The show was based on Ted Key's well-known Saturday Evening Post comic strip of the same name.
