Hawkeye is a television series produced by Stephen J. Cannell that aired in syndication for one season in 1994-1995. North Vancouver and Vancouver, British Columbia, were used for filming. The series is based on James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales and takes place during the French and Indian War in 1755 Hudson Valley, New York. It follows Natty Bumppo, his Native American companion Chingachgook, trading post owner Elizabeth Shields, and others stationed at or living near Fort Bennington.
