Onizuka is a former biker and gang leader with one goal in mind: to become the greatest teacher in the world. As an intern teacher, he discovers the power and respect that can be gained by leveraging his strength and connections to get the respect of his students. Now that he has graduated, he receives a job at a prominent private school to handle their 'problem class,' which has caused the last several teachers to resign. When the troublemakers include some of Japan's brightest students who choose a more cerebral approach to abusing their instructor, he must deal with a different kind of difficulty.
