Gilligan's Island is an American sitcom that was made by United Artists Television and created and produced by Sherwood Schwartz. Bob Denver, Alan Hale, Jr., Jim Backus, Natalie Schafer, Tina Louise, Russell Johnson, and Dawn Wells were all on the situation comedy show. From September 26, 1964, until September 4, 1967, it ran for three seasons on the CBS network. At first, Philip Morris & Company and Procter & Gamble paid for the show, which told the funny stories of seven shipwrecked people trying to stay alive on an island. Most episodes are about the conflicts between the different castaways and their failed attempts to get away from their situation. Gilligan's Island had 98 episodes in total.
