Butch Hartman created the Nickelodeon animated series Danny Phantom, which Billionfold Studios produced. The Fairly OddParents was also distributed by Nelvana, a Canadian animation studio. An accident with an unpredictability portal between the human world and the supernatural "Ghost Zone" results in Danny Fenton, a 14-year-old boy, becoming half-ghost and saving his town and the world from ghost attacks while attempting to keep his ghost half-secret from everyone, except his best friends Tucker Foley and Samantha Manson. The first episode aired on April 3, 2004, and the final episode aired on August 24, 2007, totaling 53 episodes over three seasons. The DVD for this film has just been released. Hartman hinted at a possible comeback of the show on his Twitter account on August 5, 2013, but no official word has come from Hartman or Nickelodeon since. Hartman and Nickelodeon have not responded to requests for comment.
