Ctrl
NBC produces the comedy online series Ctrl. It is the first web series produced independently by a major television network. Tony Hale plays a regular office worker who lacks self-confidence and realizes he can erase things in real life. It is an adaptation and expansion of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival-winning short film Ctrl Z by Robert Kirbyson. CTRL was discovered and created by SXM after the 2008 Sundance Film Festival screening of the original short film Ctrl Z. Ultimately, SXM collaborated with NBC's digital studio to create the web series. After NBC closed its digital studio in 2011, the rights reverted to SXM, which is presently developing Season 2 alongside Yahoo and a private investor. The episodes appear to have been removed from the NBC website as of early 2012, but they are available on Hulu.
