The reality game show Coach Trip was first shown on Channel 4 from March 7, 2005, to June 30, 2006. After a three-year break, the show came back on Channel 4 on May 25, 2009, and ran until March 9, 2012. Early in 2013, the show went on hiatus again, and Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour took its place. But in September 2013, Channel 4 said that they would be making another season of Coach Trip. The show is made up of four to seven teams of two people who travel by bus through mostly continental Europe. The tours usually lasted 30 or 50 days, and people stayed on the tour until they were kicked off by their travel partners. The next day, a new couple took their place. Brendan Sheerin, who is the tour guide, is with the travelers in every episode.
