Captain Flamingo is a Canadian animated TV show that follows the adventures of the main character Milo Powell. The TV show was made by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation. It debuted on YTV in Canada on February7,2006, and it also airs on Nicktoons, Jetix, and the ABC in Australia. News said that the show would premiere on JETIX in the United States in2007. However, Toon Disney's new schedule put the show's premiere on January28, 2008 at 8:30AM. Captain Flamingo was taken off the Toon Disney schedule on August12,2008, but he came back on September 2 at 5:30 a.m. When Toon Disney changed its name to Disney XD on February13,2009, Captain Flamingo was taken off the air again, and it hasn't been shown in the US since. The main character is a young person whose age is not given. He doesn't have any superpowers worth mentioning. He just wants to help "little kids" who are in trouble. His "super powers" take the form of things like a whoopee cushion. Reruns are no longer shown on YTV, but they are still shown on Nickelodeon Canada.
