Cane
Cane is an American television drama written and executive produced by Cynthia Cidre, Jonathan Prince, Jimmy Iovine, and Polly Anthony. Christian Duguay directed the pilot episode. The drama followed the lives and internal power struggles of a strong and rich Cuban-American family who owned a hugely successful rum and sugar cane business in South Florida. The sitcom, produced by ABC Studios, CBS Paramount Network Television, El Sendero Productions, Interscope Records, and Once A Frog Productions, premiered on CBS on September25,2007, at 10:00/9:00c, following The Unit. The show's season opener drew 11 million viewers, the most in its time slot since 1999's Judging Amy.
