Bodyline
The 1932/33 Test cricket series between England and Australia is turned into a drama. When the series was played in Australia, the English team, led by captain Douglas Jardine, used a bowling technique called "leg theory," or more commonly "Bodyline." This made the series famous in Australia and around the world. Bowlers used this strategy by throwing the ball directly at the batsman's body. As a result, many members of the Australian team got bruises and other injuries, and Bert Oldfield cracked his skull. The series made a lot of people in Australia angry and resentful of the English team. It also hurt cricket relations between England and Australia at the time.
