Bad Girls
Bad Girls is a British television drama series that aired on ITV from June 1, 1999, to December 20, 2006, and starred a large cast including Simone Lahbib, Mandana Jones, Debra Stephenson, Linda Henry, Jack Ellis, and many others over the course of its eight-year run. The series was broadcast in the United Kingdom. The series was produced by Shed Productions, the same firm that went on to develop Footballers' Wives and Waterloo Road. It was aired in 17 different countries around the world. The action takes place in the fictitious women's prison of Larkhall, and the show focuses on the inmates and staff of G Wing. There is a balance of serious and humorous storylines in the show. CBS Drama began airing repeats of the series in the United Kingdom in 2010 after purchasing the rights to do so. Most recently, in September2012, the channel began airing the series once more in a late-night time slot.
