The proprietor Nanao Shin invites ten men and women to the Natural Island Hotel on the remote island Heitaijima off Yachijojima. They accept the prepared dinner with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension, wondering what would transpire and why they have been brought to this island. Then, they hear a mysterious voice revealing their previous transgressions. As the ten individuals reflect on past events, one of the invited guests is slain before their eyes. This appears to be the impetus for the murders of two further guests. Several days after the arrival of the invited guests to Heitaijima, police are dispatched to the island in response to reports of murders. They find ten dead victims in this large "closed room." Who is the murderer, and why were these 10 individuals assembled and murdered? The film is based on Agatha Christie's 1943 novel "And Then There Were None."
