Alice
CBS aired the American sitcom television series titled Alice from the 31st of August, 1976 all the way until the 19th of March, 1985. The movie "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore," which was released in 1974, served as the inspiration for this television series. The show's title character is played by Linda Lavin, and she is a widow who relocates to Arizona with her young boy in order to begin a new chapter in her life. She takes a job at a roadside restaurant on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. Mel's Diner serves as the setting for the majority of the show's episodes.
