The narrative focuses on the lives of two characters: Andrew, a straightforward lawyer who was brought up by a hippy mother and has a streak of defiance; and Zelda, an employee at an online dating service who fantasizes about meeting the girl of his dreams. Zelda and Andrew, both of whom were previously unmarried, were forced to speak to one another in order to settle a dispute regarding a mismatched dating situation; however, throughout their conversation, they unexpectedly began to develop romantic feelings for one another.
