After her son's sad death, Arlene loses everything, including her husband, her home, and her sanity. When the mysterious Endeavour Institute gives her the opportunity to travel back in time and alter the history, she gladly accepts and begins her adventure to the past. Arlene must differentiate the real from the unreal without upsetting the delicate balance, as she is haunted by recollections of an alternate existence. She is unprepared for the tremendous cost of saving her son.
