Reviving the Roman Porno label, Nikkatsu has restarted production of new works and revived its role as a sandbox for playful experimentation with the goal of achieving new forms of cinematic expression. Since joining Nikkatsu as an assistant director, Hideo Nakata has worked on numerous on-location shoots for Roman Porno's soft-core series, but this is his first time directing a Roman Porno film. The director of Masaru Konuma's film tackles the lesbian world, which is poised to usurp the ancient title spirits. Ceramic artisan Tokiko and her apprentice Haruka are in a romantic relationship. Both the woman and the man are straight, and their attraction to one another was purely accidental.
