Baseball player Calvin Campbell was forced to retire early because of his frequent panic attacks at the plate. Even though he has the potential to make it to the big leagues, he still has a hard time dealing with life's unexpected twists and turns. Now that his adolescent daughter is in high school, he sleepwalks through his days and the daunting task of raising her alone. When he meets Produce, a young guy with Down syndrome who works at the local grocery store, his life is immediately awakened and energized.
