Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael

Roxy Carmichael is leaving the bright lights of Hollywood, Calif., and returning to her little Ohio community — at least for a few days to dedicate a civic building to her father. And now the entire town of Clyde is bracing for Carmichael's return, especially her now-married old flame Denton Webb and disturbed adolescent Dinky Bossetti, who are both looking forward to her return. Dinky, an orphan with few acquaintances, is sure that Carmichael is her biological mother and that the actress would recover her when she returns to the United States.
