Children from Ballydowse and Carrickdowse fight each other and cut off their buttons, shoelaces, and underwear. People aren't going to like this. They fight in groups of at least a dozen people, throwing stones and cutting off their opponents' buttons and other things, like that. And sometimes they go to fight without clothes on. When 30 boys come back from a battle, they find some girls waiting for them at a barn house. They are very embarrassed about having to share their private lives with other people.
